Meet Scott Sullivan
Entrepreneur Speaker Leadership Strategist
Philanthropist Health Advocate
Scott Sullivan not only learned how to succeed in life, he learned how to teach success to others. After college, he began his career learning from and working with financial planning pioneer, the late Charles J. Givens, helping millions of Americans protect their homes and savings. He was later recruited by Tony Robbins’ organization and worked for years helping to deliver the message of personal and professional empowerment to a world hungering for direction. He then ventured, with his brother, to successfully build a very successful business in Louisiana.
When Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Louisiana coast and flooded New Orleans, he was on the scene, as one of the first responders, and shortly thereafter founded, a 501 3C, originally named, Corps of Compassion to assist in bringing needed supplies and to lead volunteers with compassion and a positive attitude to the task of feeding, clothing and otherwise assisting people in distress.
While investing in the booming real estate market, at the time in Las Vegas, Scott discovered that many families from Hurricane Katrina were being displaced in Las Vegas with no safety net structure in place. He moved Corps of Compassion to Las Vegas to help with the influx of Katrina families to find food, shelter and employment. As the families’ needs we satisfied, Corps of Compassion transitioned into the Caring 4 Kids Foundation, which began filling a need for at risk kids to get weekly food to eat over the weekend. Scott’s vision to feed at least 2000 kids per week during the school year grew with interest from other organizations to grow the vision by modeling the Caring 4 Kids success. As a community today, over 5000 Las Vegas kids today are being fed weekly.
Scott is a sought after speaker on topics including business and financial strategy, leadership and personal & professional development.
He is currently finishing a book and creating a new mentoring program for entrepreneurs called StreetMBA, which will launch in the summer of 2012.
